After reading countless reviews, it is a good idea to get the extended warranty and the surge protector. While many of them last a good long time, if you are unfortunate enough to get one that doesn’t you wish you had the warranty.

Do not buy this refrigerator expecting the ice maker to be wonderfully perfect. The one consistent thing I read was that everyone had some kind of issue with the ice maker.
